Erin is 18 months old!

Erin on her first carousel ride (at the Blvd mall).

A little blurry(from the carousel moving), but you can see how happy Erin was once the her rouster started moving up and down.

Erin loves flowers.

Erin loves to dance (she learned this move watching Yo Gabba Gabba :)

Our family portrait taken at Christine and Mike's wedding (by fabulous photographers btw)....Erin wasn't too interested in posing for the camera though.

Isn't this adorable? Erin smelling Aunt Christine's bridal bouquet.

Wow.....our little girl is already a year and a half old. She is really growing and developing perfectly. Jay and I are so blessed. She is talking up a storm now-a-days and she seems to say a new word or two almost every day. I'd estimate that she is saying about 30-40 words total. She loves books, playing outside and watching Yo Gabba Gabba.

I hope you enjoyed some pictures from the last month (sorry I haven't been better with blogging, but I've been exhausted this pregnancy and going to bed shortly after Erin is in bed for the night!)

More cute pictures

Erin is so happy when she is playing outside. She loves to collect sticks, rocks, pine cones and old tennis balls that are found in the bushes! (she found one that must have been there a long time, since it barely resembled a tennis ball anymore). She loves to take rides in her wagon. I'll have to get a picture of her riding in it to post on here.

Erin was able to climb up onto the kitchen chair all by herself. I think she might almost be ready for a booster seat now (instead of her high chair). I actually fed her lunch in the big girl chair and she did great sitting there. Notice how happy she is in this picture.

Spring Photos

(Jay-if you are looking at this tonight at work, I hope you are having a great night! Love ya!)

Erin can't get enough of dada's orange snow cap. She loves wearing it everywhere -inside and outside.

A rare glimpse of Erin in pigtails! She doesn't usually keep them in for more than a few seconds. She is sure cute in them though!

Erin helping dada with the spring raking (we have so many leaves, that we'd need an Army to get them all raked up).

I think she has more fun playing in them though.

Erin on St. Patty's day. She looks so cute in green (and red, blue, purple, pink!).

Erin rarely takes the time to relax during te day, but she did lay down and read a book with momma.

Messy Face. Bunny Ears. and adorable-ness

Aunt Christine and I bought Erin these Bunny ears (the tag said for children 7 and older, don't tell Nicole ;-).
Hippity-Hop
She did not like them very much. Notice Christine restraining her arm from the removal of the cuteness

Aunt Christine looks amazing with bunny ears on! Hot stuff.

Grandma to the rescue! They sort of look alike?

Spaghetti on the face.

I think before she started crying Christine poked Erin in the eye with a saucy finger.
You can see Grandma Pat in the background punishing Erin for her obstinate behavior.

This is one of my favorite photos of Erin.
Those big eyes, pouty lips and button nose.

GoOfY DaDa

Nothing like taking a cute 15 month old girl and making her look like a geeky construction worker! These pictures are courtesy of dada (put put on here by mama).

How in the world did we catch this picture of her pushing her goggles up with her pointer finger?

She's trying to clap in this picture.

She really loves these goggles. They are from Biology 101 lab, which we took over 10 years ago!

She is growing up too fast!

Erin stacked this block tower all by herself! She is so happy, as you can see by her clapping. According to my Toddler 411 book, this is a milestone typically reached from 16-24 months (I guess g-ma is right, she is advanced!)

She loves to dress up, especially wearing hats and scarves.

Here is Erin running around at the North Collins Winterfest. It was very cold out, but she is a tough country chic (at least daddy says that!).

Dr. (Erin) Barker

Erin really loves her dada and mimics him in many ways. She went into her toy box today and put on her stethoscope and grabed her otoscope to play with. Jay doesn't really want to admit it, but I see a doctor in the making.
