Explore and More Museum

Erin and momma went to the Explore and More Museum in East Aurora today for a morning of fun and exploration. This museum is fabulous....educational, hands-on and 100% toddler friendly. Erin loved that she could touch and play with everything- nothing was off-limits! They even had these buckets around (hung up high) for parents to put anything that their kids may have put in their mouth so it could be sanitized!

This play table was also a big hit. Erin got to play in a big bucket of rice.

Of course, she always gravitates to the animals. Here she has two giraffes and a duck.

Corn on the Cob....great for teething!

Erin really enjoyed chomping down on some corn on the cob.

She seemed to really like gnawing on it where here new teeth are coming in.

"Ahhhhh....that is sure yummy!"

Fun in the Sun

Erin went swimming in the pond with dada on this beautiful summer day. She loved her new ladybug raft.

The Barker Family is expanding.....

In mid to late October the Barker Family will be a family of 4.......our new addition will be a little (maybe big) baby

BOY!!

The 18-19 week u/s showed a very healthy baby boy in there (no mistakening it) and he is already big (measuring 10 days ahead of schedule). Oh and don't worry, I will remove that "money shot" picture before our son gets to be a teenager.

Outdoor fun

Despite her lack of a smile (which I think was hard with the ear muffs on), Erin LOVES the tractor and especially wearing her own ear protection. She's turning into such a daddy's girl.

She's very intent in learning how to drive the tractor on her own.

One of her other favorite sources of transportation, her wagon.

Erin loves to seek out little creatures, like the ant she is pointing to.

Erin just loves phones and especially our cell phones. I'm a little worried what it will be like when she is a teenager.

Wow.....our little girl is already a year and a half old. She is really growing and developing perfectly. Jay and I are so blessed. She is talking up a storm now-a-days and she seems to say a new word or two almost every day. I'd estimate that she is saying about 30-40 words total. She loves books, playing outside and watching Yo Gabba Gabba.

I hope you enjoyed some pictures from the last month (sorry I haven't been better with blogging, but I've been exhausted this pregnancy and going to bed shortly after Erin is in bed for the night!)

More cute pictures

Erin is so happy when she is playing outside. She loves to collect sticks, rocks, pine cones and old tennis balls that are found in the bushes! (she found one that must have been there a long time, since it barely resembled a tennis ball anymore). She loves to take rides in her wagon. I'll have to get a picture of her riding in it to post on here.

Erin was able to climb up onto the kitchen chair all by herself. I think she might almost be ready for a booster seat now (instead of her high chair). I actually fed her lunch in the big girl chair and she did great sitting there. Notice how happy she is in this picture.
